Are you a postgraduate student wondering what comes next? Whether you are thinking about staying in academia, moving into industry, launching something of your own, or simply exploring your options, this event is designed with you in mind.

Beyond Your Degree is a free, in-person postgraduate community event hosted at Loughborough University, bringing together students and a diverse panel of professionals, researchers, entrepreneurs, and alumni for an inspiring morning of honest conversation, practical insight, and genuine connection.

The morning will include:

• A Keynote Address from Loughborough's Careers Network, setting the scene on postgraduate career pathways and what students should be thinking about now
• A Panel Discussion and Q&A featuring speakers from across sectors, including academia, industry, entrepreneurship, knowledge transfer, and more, sharing their journeys, their challenges, and their advice
• Informal networking giving you the chance to have real, one-to-one conversations with our speakers and connect with fellow postgraduate students

This is not a formal conference. There are no presentations to sit through and no pressure to have it all figured out. It is a space to listen, ask questions, get inspired, and leave with a clearer sense of what is possible beyond your degree.
