Staff Volunteers Wanted: Student Accommodation Centre Call Centre

Volunteers are needed to support the Accommodation Call Centre during the busy A-level results period in August.

Following the success of our Accommodation Call Centre in previous years, we’re looking for volunteers to support us again during the busy August A-level results period. This is a great chance to get involved and make a real difference to students at an important time, helping answer queries and guide them through their accommodation applications. We’re expecting a high volume of calls on our key dates, so we’d really appreciate any support you can offer on one or more of the following days:

  • Thursday 13 August
  • Friday 14 August
  • Monday 17 August
  • Tuesday 18 August

Don’t worry if you haven’t done this before; full training will be provided. You’ll just need to attend one of these sessions:

  • Thursday 6 August (morning)
  • Friday 7 August (morning)

How to get involved
If you’d like to volunteer as a call handler, simply complete the sign-up form.

This is a voluntary opportunity for staff at Loughborough University, please check with your line manager before signing up. This is not a paid opportunity, but we will keep you going with snacks!

This is a great opportunity to support students at an important stage of their university journey while contributing to a valuable service.
