Co-development of the Forces Families Resilience Programme
16 April
- For Staff and Students
- Research participant call-outs
Alongside the Royal Air Forces Association, we are expanding the successful Veterans Resilience Programme to include family members of both veterans and currently serving personnel. To ensure the new Forces Family Resilience Programme is shaped around the real needs and preferences of this group, we are looking for family members of veterans or current serving personnel to complete a short 10-minute survey exploring their views on programme content, delivery, and any factors that may support or limit engagement.
Since 2025, the Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA) and Loughborough University have been delivering the Veterans Resilience Programme — a two-day residential course combining physical activities and wellbeing workshops designed to enhance the social, physical, and psychological resilience of veterans.
With new funding secured, we are now extending this work to support family members of veterans and currently serving personnel. To ensure the new Family Resilience Programme is shaped around the real needs and preferences of this group, we are running a short 10-minute survey exploring views on programme content, delivery, and any factors that may support or limit engagement.
If you’re a partner or family member of a veteran or serving personnel or know someone who might be eligible, please complete the online survey.
The survey will take no longer than 10 minutes to complete
The study is being conducted by Daniel Ogden, Dr Jamie Barker, Dr Kristen Clements (Loughborough University) and Laura Holding (RAFA). For queries, please contact veteransresilience@mailbox.lboro.ac.uk
