Researchers at Loughborough University are inviting volunteers to take part in a study about how people learn to use new vehicle technologies.
The session will take place in the Driving Simulator Lab (LDS.1.35) at the School of Design on campus and will last approximately 50–60 minutes. During the session, participants will review information about a vehicle assistance system (presented as text, audio, or video), briefly use a driving simulator in both manual and automated driving modes, and complete a few short questionnaires about their experience.
Participants will also be invited to complete a short follow-up questionnaire online approximately one week after the session.
We are particularly interested in hearing from Loughborough University staff and local residents aged 55 and over.
To take part, you must:
- Be aged 18 or over
- Hold a valid driving licence
- Drive regularly (or have driven frequently within the last two years)
- Be comfortable understanding spoken and written English
Participants will receive a £15 Love2shop voucher as a thank-you for their time.
