After this date, any devices still running the unsupported Windows 10, without a valid exemption, will no longer be able to connect to the network or University systems. Unsupported devices present a significant security risk to University systems and data.
To avoid interruption to your work and University operations, please upgrade now. Use the Windows 11 Upgrade Request Form to:
- Book in your device for the W11 upgrade.
- Provide details if you have a valid reason to remain on the Windows 10 service.
Please ensure you complete this before Friday, 31 October.
This upgrade requirement applies to laptop devices used by staff and doctoral researchers. IT Services are currently working with colleagues using desktop machines as part of the final phase of the Windows 11 upgrade project.
