Free Level 2 courses available for University community through partnership with the Aim Group

The University has partnered with the Aim Group to offer staff and students the opportunity to undertake nationally recognised qualifications which can develop their knowledge and understanding of wellbeing topics.

The NCFE CACHE Accredited Level 2 courses are free to sign up to thanks to funding from the Adult Education Budget and are undertaken online. There are no exams to complete, and the e-learning platform can be accessed 24/7. You can do as many as you like, however, you can do only one at a time.  

Some of the courses available include: 

  • Mental Health Awareness 

  • Children and Young People’s Mental Health 

  • Mental Health in the Workplace 

  • Adverse Childhood Experiences 

  • Distressed Behaviour in Children 

  • Introduction to Counselling Skills

To be eligible, you must: 

  • Be aged 19 or older 

  • Have lived in the UK/EU for more than three years 

  • Not be enrolled on another government-funded course
