Loughborough University announces intention to form new partnership with Cambridge Education Group

The University has today announced its intention to form a new partnership with Cambridge Education Group that will prepare ambitious students from around the world for potential progression onto Loughborough’s degree programmes.

It is anticipated that the University will join Cambridge Education Group’s ONCAMPUS portfolio, with a dedicated Centre based on the Loughborough University campus. The first cohort of students would begin the partner programmes in Loughborough from September 2023 and, on successful completion, have the opportunity to join a Loughborough degree programme the following academic year.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Nick Jennings, said: “The intended partnership with Cambridge Education Group is an exciting development in Loughborough’s internationalisation plans. Our University Strategy – Creating Better Futures. Together – and the underpinning International Engagement and Impact core plan emphasise our desire to expand the international diversity of our student population. The partnership with Cambridge Education Group will enable us to take a significant step forward in that ambition, and also support our strategic aim to grow our global reputation.

“By attracting more international students from a wider range of countries, we will diversify the make-up of our university, which in turn will enable us to offer a more culturally enriching experience for all our community.”
