The RTN’s activities are directly connected to the new National Rehabilitation Centre, which is due to open to patients in 2024. The network is working with academic and non-academic stakeholders to build and strengthen the Rehabilitation Technologies community and identify requirements and promising new directions for research in this area.
It is hoped that participants at the workshop will help identify research priorities and questions of central interest, as well as potential disruptive technologies and solutions to clinical challenges. Up to £100,000 of RTN funding will be made available to fund interdisciplinary feasibility studies arising from these workshops.
The deadline for applying for the workshop closes on 14 November.
