Give ‘n’ Go: Staff volunteers needed

The Sustainability Team are looking for a group of staff volunteers to help them sort through and pack up donations from students as part of the Give ‘n’ Go campaign.

It's a fantastic opportunity for staff to get involved in contributing to the University’s sustainability efforts. Sustainability is one of the core principles of the new University Strategy where our aim is to make our campus and the wider world as environmentally friendly as we can.

The team are looking for staff to volunteer between 7-14 July 2022 to do either a morning or afternoon shift on one (or more) of the days. The shift times are 10am-1pm and 1pm-4pm.

The team require approximately six volunteers per shift and would be delighted if teams wanted to come and volunteer together as a group. People and Organisational Development encourage staff to use their volunteering days allowance to support the project.

If you are interested in supporting the Give ‘n’ Go project by volunteering some of your time, please fill out this online form with your availability. If you have any questions about the project or what the volunteering may entail please contact Rhiannon Brown at enviroassist@lboro.ac.uk.
