Professor Claire Warden

Loughborough Professor joins Arts and Humanities Research Council Peer Review College

Claire Warden, a professor in Performance and Physical Culture in the School of Design and Creative Arts, is the latest Loughborough academic to be appointed to the committee.

The Arts and Humanities Research Council (ARHC) provides funding for researchers within arts and humanities. Members of the Peer Review College assess grant proposals within their area of expertise and make the funding decisions.

It has 963 members from higher education institutions and research organisations from both the UK and overseas - 12 are from Loughborough University.

Claire is the latest appointment, joining:

Claire said: “I am delighted to be joining the AHRC Peer Review College and contributing to its decision-making process. I am particularly committed to ensuring that often overlooked voices and stories are given resources in order to increase visibility.

“Following the trajectory of my own research, I am also interested in supporting work that crosses typical disciplinary divides. I am really looking forward to being part of the Peer Review College and to engaging with all the exciting, innovative research.”
