Students at creative skillshare workshop

Students: don’t miss out – apply for the creative skill share

Students with a creative talent and an interest in passing on their skills and knowledge to others are invited to apply for the creative skill share.

If you are a photographer, printmaker, artist or craftsperson and you would love to encourage and teach others in your skill then the creative skill share could be for you.

This initiative is run by LU Arts as part of its programme to get students involved in the arts and to be creative in their spare time. Students who are accepted onto the scheme will be given free training by leading community arts organisation Charnwood Arts.

These two one-day workshops will be held in early November and will train students on how to run workshops and pass on their skills to others. Once trained, these students will be employed by LU Arts on an ad hoc basis to run one-off workshops for other students across campus.

The creative skill share is open to all Loughborough University and Loughborough London students (undergraduates and postgraduates). This is an opportunity for anyone with a creative skill, not just those studying art-focused degrees. You must be able to display good skills and be competent in the art form you want to deliver workshops on.

To apply please complete an application form and send to luarts@lboro.ac.uk. You can also make an initial enquiry by email if you are unsure as to whether you might be suitable for this scheme.

The deadline for applications is 31 October 2019.
