Careers Network to host industry-led panel events at this month’s Autumn Careers Fair
For the first time this year, a suite of industry-led panel style events for students will be held at the Autumn Careers Fair.
The three panels will specialise in marketing, HR and business consultancy/analytics – featuring a line-up of professionals from a variety of industries - and will take place on 21 and 22 October.
The events are open to all degree disciplines and year groups and provide an opportunity to:
- Gain a deeper understanding of the wide range of roles within your chosen industry
- Learn from industry experts and find out what skills and qualities employers are looking for when recruiting for specific roles
- Network with employers and ask questions that matter to you
- Gain top tips on how to stand out from your peers during the selection process
- Find out what it takes to succeed in these competitive but rewarding industries
Each panel will take place at the following times:
- Careers in... Business Consultancy and Analytics - 12.30pm-1.30pm, Monday 21 October
- Careers in... Marketing - 6.30pm-8pm, Monday 21 October
- Careers in... HR - 6.15pm-8pm, Tuesday 22 October
- Careers in...the Healthcare sector - 6.15pm-8pm, Tuesday 22 October
Expect to hear from organisations* including Caterpillar, PwC, TeachFirst, Enterprise Rent a Car, NHS, Virgin Media and BGL, as well as Loughborough University staff members.
The companies mentioned above will also have a presence at the Fair if you wish to find out more about their opportunities.
