Veronica Hammond-Young
We are sad to inform colleagues that Veronica Hammond-Young, who worked in the Admissions Office and latterly the Marketing and Advancement team, has died.
Veronica started working at the University in 1996, leading the undergraduate admissions team in the Admissions Office, where her role included the coordination of the University’s early schools liaison activities.
After a long period in Admissions, and with her role changing and developing as the University’s student recruitment activities grew, Veronica moved to Marketing and Advancement in 2014 to work within the Marketing Research, Evaluation and Policy team.
Veronica took early retirement from the University on the grounds of ill health at the end of 2017.
Our thoughts and condolences go to Veronica’s family and friends and all those at the University who knew her.
