Updates to the University’s Drone Code of Practice

The University’s Health and Safety team has updated and republished its Drone Code of Practice document in line with the new UK regulations introduced in November.

It is available to read on their webpages here.

The document provides guidance and requirements prior to any drone flight on campus.

A poster from the UK’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) with more information about the drone test, registering a model and guidance on how to safely fly a drone is also available below:

Alternatively, visit their dedicated website here.

If you have any further questions about the University’s policy, please email Deputy Health and Safety Manager, Hugh Weaver at H.C.Weaver@lboro.ac.uk.
