Practice your pitching and win prizes with LEN’s 'The Power of Three' competition

Loughborough Enterprise Network (LEN) is inviting students and graduates to pitch for their ‘The Power of Three’ competition.

'The Power of Three' has been proven to be a more effective and memorable way of delivering any form of key message or argument and, for that reason, LEN are offering students and graduates the opportunity to practice ‘The Power of Three' in a new and exciting, quick-fire Pitching Competition.

Simply pitch your business idea or existing business using this method with a video recording. For example, you might explain your idea in the first third of your pitch, run through your values as your second part and confirm your traction or what the money will be used for (if you're selected as a winner) in the final part of the pitch.

To submit, register your interest by signing up here. Once you're happy with your pitch, simply send an email to len@lboro.ac.uk and include a WeTransfer link to your video with the Subject Line 'The Power of Three - Your Name - Business Idea / Name'.

To take part, you must be a current undergraduate or postgraduate student at either of the Loughborough campuses. Those on a Placement Year (Professional, Industry or Year in Enterprise) are also within the criteria to take part. In addition, Loughborough University or Loughborough in London graduates (up to two years post-graduation) can take part as well.

Pitches should be no longer than three minutes, and phones or other electronic recording devices can be used to create your video. Remember to be as creative as you can!

The deadline for all entries is this Sunday (25 November) at 11pm.

The overall winner of the competition will receive £300, with £200 going to second place and £100 for third place.
