Female participants needed for sports study
Progressive Sports Technologies Ltd, based at Loughborough University’s Sports Technology Institute, is running a bra study for a sports brand. The study needs two female participants of any age, although they are required to be bra size 34C.
Each participant must bring with them their own running shoes, socks, shorts and t-shirt. The sports bras will be provided and as a ‘thank you’/incentive the participant will get a £50 Amazon voucher.
The study will involve two sessions. The first is a bra fitting session which will last approximately 15 minutes; this fitting session will ensure that you are the correct size for the study. If the fitting is successful, the second session will take place in the Sports Technology Institute’s Lab on the Loughborough University campus.
The trial will require a four hour session during which we will be comparing the performance of 9 different sports bras. During the testing, you will be asked to approximately run 9 times for 90 seconds (90 seconds per sports bra). Small markers will be attached, allowing us to record the motion of the key body regions. Markers located in sensitive areas can be placed by yourself.
The study will be conducted by a male researcher but your privacy will be protected.
The study will take place before the 28 February, at a date and time that suits you.
