The Graduate School celebrate postgraduate research in annual Summer Showcase

The Graduate School is set to host their annual Summer Showcase celebrating postgraduate research at Loughborough later this month (22 June).

The showcase is an opportunity for postgraduate research students (PGRs) to exhibit their research and hear about the great research being undertaken by their peers at the University.

The main event at the showcase will be the final of the Three Minute Thesis competition featuring the winners and runners-up from each of the three preliminary heats. The competition will identify the overall Loughborough winner, who will win an iPad mini as well as an entry into the national competition.

The event will aslo include the Research Three-minute Challenge. This challenge requires challenge leaders to describe the work of each of the six University Research Challenges in just three minutes.

All PGR students are also invited to take part in the Summer Poster Competition. Cash prizes and conference travel prizes will be up for grabs. This year, there will be Research Challenge-specific poster prizes as well as a general prize fund.
