Graduate School announce 55 fully-funded PhD studentships

The Graduate School have announced 55 fully-funded PhD opportunities from across all areas of research.

Starting in 2016, these funding packages include the full tuition fees and a tax-free stipend of approximately £14,000 per annum to cover living costs.

The University encourages the diversity of the research students undertake, which seek distinctive solutions to regional, national and international problems.

Currently, the University has approximately 1800 research students, all undertaking pioneering research in 100+ research centres, groups and institutes.

In the latest Research Excellence Framework (REF), undertaken in 2014, Loughborough was ranked 14th in the UK and 9th among universities in England for research intensity.
