Join the festive fun at the University Christmas Concert

The countdown to Christmas has officially begun, so come along and join in the festive fun at the University’s Christmas Concert next week.

This year, the Choir will be joined by the University String Ensemble to present a wonderful programme of seasonal music.

The annual event always puts people in the festive mood with plenty of opportunities for audience participation throughout.

For those who want to do more than listen, the University Choir is open to all University staff and students and members of the public aged 16 and over.

New members are welcome to join for free at any time – no auditions or previous experience is required. The Choir meet every Monday during term time to rehearse.

Alternatively, if you’re interested in joining The String Ensemble, the group meet every Tuesday to rehearse and plays music ranging from Baroque, Light Classical, Jazz and Film music.

The University Choir Christmas Concert can be seen on Monday 12 December at the Cope Auditorium, Loughborough University at 7:30pm.

Tickets are £7.00 and £5.00 for students and can be bought online at arts.lboro.ac.uk or from the LU Arts Box Office at Loughborough Town Hall on 01509 231914.
