About this event
Meeting at the gates to Burleigh Wood (What3Words - faces.rock.edge), following a short introduction, we will take a gentle stroll around the wood, stopping to listen to the dawn chorus and identify the birds we can hear. The walk will be led by Curtis Burbidge accompanied by Assistant Gardens Manager Rich Fenn Griffin.
If you need to leave the event early due to work commitments, please feel free to do so.
Please be aware that the surface of the wood is uneven in parts so sturdy footwear is recommended. If high winds or heavy rain are predicted for the day of the event you will receive an email if the event is cancelled.
Unfortunately, we cannot welcome dogs to this event as they tend to deter the birds. If you have a pair of binoculars, please bring them along as they can be very useful.
