Research Culture Spotlight Session: Identifying and Planning for Change

This interactive online session is for staff and students who want to make a real difference to research culture in their School, Department or Professional Services team. You will gain practical approaches you can use straight away, along with ideas, tools and inspiration from others working on similar challenges.

In the session, you will explore how you can understand your local culture, choose the actions that matter most, and make effective use of limited time and resources. You will also pick up practical ways to influence, lead and communicate change so your work has impact.

The session will include some short case studies from across the University, insights from the University Change Team, as well as signposting to useful tools and frameworks. There will be time to connect and discuss with peers and begin shaping your own plans with support from others.
