Join us at our Pop-up Maker Space, with quick and simple creative activities suitable for all.

Everyone knows that it’s good to take a break from your desk or screens for a short while, and doing something creative can be great for your wellbeing. Whether you’ve got 15mins or an hour, there’s something you can make or do in the time you have.

Each Pop-up session has a different focus, which will be self-led with simple instructions to follow if needed. In addition to this, there are basic art materials available at every session for you to use, including paper, paints, origami and colouring sheets.

For February’s Pop-up, celebrate identity and pride as part of UK LGBT+ History Month. Create a friendship bracelet or badge that expresses who you are or shows support for others. Arts Events Assistants will be on hand to welcome you and chat!

The Pop-up Maker Space takes place on the fourth Thursday of the month in different locations on campus from 12.30-2.30pm. Keep an eye on the LU Arts website for details of each session.

There is step free access into the building with accessible toilets nearby. The session will take place in the large breakout space near the cafe.

If you have any specific access requirements or anything you would like us to be aware of, please let us know in advance by emailing LUArts@lboro.ac.uk and we will do our best to accommodate them.

Photography may take place at this event. If you do not consent to your photo being taken and this being used by Loughborough University and LU Arts for publicity purposes, then please alert the photographer or member of staff on the day.
