Open Discussion on UK Immigration issues for International Colleagues

The International Staff Network warmly invites you to a café style conversation focused on recent developments relating to UK immigration policy, including the Government’s recent consultation on the earned settlement model.

We recognise that these announcements may raise questions or concerns for many of our international colleagues. These informal sessions are an opportunity to come together, share experiences, and discuss the issues that matter to you.

The sessions will be supported by Sarah Mould, Senior Immigration Officer, to help provide clarity on what the proposed changes may mean for staff and to offer guidance on where to find accurate, up to date information.

While we cannot provide immigration advice, we can explore common questions such as:

  • What might these proposed changes mean for me?
  • How could they affect my family?
  • Is there anything I should be doing at this stage?

Our aim is to create a supportive space where colleagues can talk openly, connect with others, and access useful signposting where needed.

If you would like to let us know your questions in advance, please do so using this MS Form. This would help Sarah Mould and the ISN Committee adequately prepare beforehand.

This invitation is open to any University colleagues who are affected by UK Immigration rules for themselves or for their family.
