International Women's Day Himalayan Singing Bowl Sound Healing session - Maia members only
Maia members are invited to a Himalayan Singing Bowl Sound Healing session for International Women's Day.
This is a relaxing wellbeing session which can help tune your mind, body, and spirit in a harmonious state where one can experience inner peace and joy.
People who have experienced the Singing Bowls healing usually share that it instantly helps to improve their sleep, reduce stress, and calm their minds. They said that they feel more grounded and/or are more aware of the needs of their body and mind.
The session, led by Dora Pratley-To, will begin with a short, seated meditation followed by 45 minutes of lying down. Please ensure that you read the joining instructions prior to registration, as sound healing is not suitable for various health and medical conditions.
To prepare for this session, you will need:
- A yoga mat
- A blanket
- Pillow or cushion for your head
- Eye-pillow or eye mask (optional)
- Comfortable clothing (recommended)
PLEASE NOTE: Singing Bowl Sound Baths are not recommended during the first and last trimester of pregnancy, if you have a pacemaker or if you have undergone surgery in the past 30 days. They are not suitable for people with metal implants (not including dental fillings), are sensitive to sounds (including Tinnitus and Meniere's), have epilepsy or experience seizures, or have certain mental health conditions. Please contact us if you have any questions.
