On Wednesday 2 September we will be hosting an IAS Friends and Fellows Coffee Morning, where we will welcome current IAS Residential Fellow Dr Alice Ojwang.

Dr Alice Ojwang, The Technical University of Kenya

Dr Alice Ojwang is a Dietitian, Diabetes Educator, and academic with over 25 years of experience bridging clinical practice, community health, and higher education. She holds a PhD in Dietetics and is recognised for her leadership in lifestyle medicine, NCD prevention, and global health research, with a specialist focus on type 2 diabetes, obesity, and metabolic health.

As Lecturer and Research Coordinator at the Technical University of Kenya, she provides interdisciplinary leadership in teaching, mentorship, and impact-driven research spanning nutrition, behavioural science, and digital health.

During their IAS Fellowship, Dr Ojwang will be collaborating with Dr Hibbah Araba Osei-Kwasi & Professor Amanda Daley from the School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences.
