Festival of Creative and Digital Methods Taster Series: Storytelling
Following a successful Festival of Creative and Digital Methods conference on 21 January 2026, the Enhanced Academic Practice (EAP) team and School of Social Science and Humanities (SSH) would like to invite colleagues to join their Online Interactive Taster Series. Hear from a range of academic experts from EAP and SSH to enhance your knowledge of innovative research methods.
In this session, Stephanie Gou (Storytelling Academy) introduce storytelling as an approach making particular reference to my current doctoral research 'Narrating the Future: Exploring Digital Storytelling to Capture Generation Z Voice in Industrial Contexts'. She will provide a brief theoretical framing alongside practical prompts, examples from my research, and a structured storytelling scaffold to support reflection and sharing.
