All colleagues (Education, Research, Doctoral Researchers, Technical) are invited to explore a range of creative and digital research methods in person at West Park Teaching Hub, presented by colleagues from different subject disciplines and different Schools.

The event aligns with the University's purpose: ‘to inspire, empower and enrich.’ Bring your adventurous and creative spirits and join us in our interactive Taster sessions and immersive technologies Starter and Demonstration sessions.

How to sign up:

The Festival is part of an extended conference which includes a follow-up Interactive Showcase series (1-hour events) starting 28 January 2026.

The Agenda:

  • 9.30am Registration and light refreshments
  • 10am Introduction
  • 10.20am-12pm Interactive Taster Sessions on Creative and Creative Digital Research Methods*
    Immersive Technology Starter sessions, Team Building Exercise and VR Demonstration*
  • 12pm-12.30pm Festival closing (includes Qualitative Research Methods Toolkit, submission call for Festival online series)
  • 12.30pm-12.45pm Informal opportunity to ask questions and find out more from colleagues presenting their work, and/ or get a contact detail for future
