Creative Health Series: Impressions of Nature (botanical monoprinting)

A table displaying various plants alongside gardening tools, showcasing a gardening setup.

This beginner-friendly printmaking workshop will introduce you to simple monoprinting techniques using printing plates and botanical materials. Through a mix of demonstration and guided practice, you will learn how to create both positive and negative impressions. You will start with black ink to explore form and texture before moving into colour, layering, mixing, and combining hues to create depth and tonal variation.

This session will offer a mindful, creative experience inspired by nature, centred on play and experimentation, with the opportunity to refine prints into a curated outcome such as a concertina booklet, postcard set, or small collection of layered prints.

No prior experience is necessary, and all materials are provided.
