Survey participants needed: Exercise Preference, Eating Behaviour and Chronotype

In collaboration with Ulster University, we want to find out if exercise at different times of the day changes the effects for health and weight management in the general UK population.

We are currently carrying out a survey investigating the local distribution of chronotype (a person's natural preference for the time of day that they are active or sleeping) relative to a person's eating behaviours and exercise timing preference, and the lifestyle factors that may influence them.

We would like individuals who meet the following criteria to complete an anonymous survey:

• Individuals aged 18+
• A resident of the United Kingdom
• Have a body mass index (BMI) of more than 25 kg/m2
• Willing to complete an anonymous survey online

Participants will complete an anonymous online survey that will take no longer than 20 minutes. The survey consists of the following sections:

1. Participant information (age, sex, ethnicity, country of residence)
2. Sleep – wake timing preferences (chronotype)
3. Exercise timing preference
4. Eating behaviours and food cravings
5. Lifestyle factors (smoking and alcohol habits, employment status, wake, and sleep times, working patterns, if you have co-dependents or cohabitate, attitudes and knowledge towards weight loss drugs, history of weight loss drug use)

If you would be interested in getting involved with the survey, please get in contact with myself (s.willis2@lboro.ac.uk) or Ms Anna Minto (Minto-a1@ulster.ac.uk).
