New Job Evaluation Panel Members Wanted

HR Services are looking to increase the number of members available to sit on upcoming Job Evaluation Panels.

We are currently seeking members of staff to join our Job Evaluation Panel.

This is a voluntary role, with panel members invited to participate in approximately 2–3 panels over a six-month period. The purpose of the panel is to evaluate new roles that require grading, as well as existing roles where there may be the potential for regrading.

You would be part of a panel comprising an HR Business Partner/Senior Business Partner, an HR Advisor, and three non-HR members of staff, ensuring a balanced and objective approach to evaluation. Full training will be provided, so no prior experience of job evaluation is required.

We welcome expressions of interest from volunteers across all job families and grades, and we particularly encourage participation from individuals who feel they bring perspectives that are currently underrepresented. This will support the University in maintaining diverse and inclusive job evaluation panels.

If you are interested in taking part or would like further information, please get in touch with HR Services hr.services@mailbox.lboro.ac.uk. For an informal chat about this role, please contact Paul Cox-Stone.
