For International Women's Month, we are pushing for inclusion, safety and celebration of women through our campaign March4Her 💜

Throughout 8-22 March, we are encouraging student and staff communities to support our fundraising efforts for the Young Women's Trust. We're asking communities to organise around women's accomplishments and speak about women's issues to combat misogyny and sexism, and recognise the amazing women in and beyond Loughborough.

Some ideas for how you can organise:

• Hold a conference or panel discussion with women and non-binary individuals 
• Set up a bake or crafts sale, with proceeds going towards a charity that supports women
• Take part in bucket collections in the local area 
• Host arts and crafts sessions centred around women's empowerment
• Organise competitions with ticketed entires

How you can help as an individual:

• Have open conversations with peers about women's accomplishments, history and wellbeing
• Wear purple to show support throughout March
• Encourage others to join the Loughborough Women’s Network (students) and MAIA (staff)
• Get involved in community action and events
• Donate to women's support groups, charities and fundraisers.
