Call for Participants: Focus Group for Dementia Caregivers and Professionals

A new study is looking for family members of people living with dementia and professionals (e.g., dementia researchers, clinicians, social care workers) to take part an online focus group about the experiences of people living with dementia and their caregivers.

We are looking for adults aged 18+ to take part in an online focus group about the experiences of people living with dementia and their family caregivers. We are inviting the following members of the public to take part:

  • People who are current or former caregivers of a person living with dementia, including primary and secondary caregivers.
  • People who are related to someone living with dementia.
  • Professionals who have worked with people living with dementia (e.g., researchers, health professionals, social care professionals, charity workers, support workers).

You do not need to be a dementia expert to take part. We are interested in a wide range of views and experiences.

The study is being led by Dr Eithne Heffernan from the School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences. Please email her to learn more and/or to express an interest in taking part via E.Heffernan@lboro.ac.uk
