Age Appreciation Group - call for participants
6 February
- For Staff
- Research participant call-outs
Using digital storytelling, this Age Appreciation Staff Network project captures voices of Loughborough staff and doctoral researchers to explore the lived experience of ageing at work. These stories will help challenge internalized ageism, encourage open conversations about age and capability, and support creation of a truly age-positive culture across the University.

We want to recruit anyone of any age/background willing to share their experiences of age and ageing in the workplace challenging age-related misconceptions such as:
- “She is too young to be a leader.”
- “He is too old to try something new.”
- “I’m too old to adapt to new technology.”
- “As a manager, I can’t talk about age without offending someone.”
If you are interested in taking part, please register your expression of interest (with no commitment) by close of business on Friday 20 March by emailing the Chair of the Age Appreciation Staff Network Catherine Armstrong C.M.Armstrong@lboro.ac.uk
