Join the annual Campus Pride March

June is Pride Month, offering an important opportunity to celebrate LGBT+ communities, reflect on ongoing challenges, and come together in solidarity.

We are pleased to announce that the annual Campus Pride March will take place on 3 June, 12.30pm-2.30pm, as part of this year’s wider Pride programme.

Starting outside Hazlerigg Building, the event will open with remarks from campus community leaders, followed by a march across campus accompanied by the rainbow bus. Participants are encouraged to take part in ways that suit them, whether marching, engaging with the event, or showing support along the route.

Attendees are welcome to bring flags and banners, and to wear rainbow colours or the colours of the trans flag as a visible show of allyship.

Accessibility arrangements include a Pride-themed accessible shuttle bus, provided in partnership with Kinchbus, which will operate along the route and allow participants to join flexibly.

The Pride March is a free, inclusive event open to all members of the University community.

Further details of the full Pride programme will be available soon.
