The Talent Match Summer Internship programme is an initiative launched by the University in 2024, designed to offer you opportunities to gain valuable employability skills and build confidence when entering a professional environment.
These internships are full-time paid positions and last for eight weeks between July and September. Positions are available in Schools and Professional Services across the East Midlands campus.
During the internship, you can expect to:
- Develop your employability skills and advance your CV
- Make meaningful contributions to your School or Service
- Attend, contribute and be heard in team discussions
- Provide your valuable student knowledge and experience to University staff
- Build meaningful connections across campus with University staff and other Talent Match interns
- Receive constructive feedback to support your career development
- Join a vibrant, caring and supportive working environment

The closing date for applications is Sunday 19 April at midnight, so apply soon to secure your place. Interviews for internship positions are expected to take place from week commencing 27 April to Friday 15 May, with roles beginning week commencing 27 July 2026.
