Graduation is arguably one of the high-points in your University career, whether you're an undergraduate or a postgraduate student. At Loughborough we try to make it a special occasion, with opportunities for our student and their families and friends to make memories that will last a lifetime.
During the events, we anticipate that campus will be very busy on these dates with students and guests travelling to attend the events.
Parking will be especially limited across campus. Car Parks to the west of campus, in particular, Holywell Car Park and Car Park 1 (multi-storey) will be especially busy. Parking will also be limited around Martin Hall, Design School and in Car Park 9.
Please also be aware that Loughborough Students’ Union Car Parks 1,2 and 3 [located behind the Union Building] and all the spaces and access onto Union Way will be closed for the duration of the events. Access to the Nursery is unaffected. Details on access to the Nursery during Graduation have been circulated via email to Parents and Guardians. Towers Way will also be closed for the duration of the event.
We would advise, where it is possible within the requirements of your role, that you consider working from home for part of Graduation. Please discuss any changes to your ways of working with your line manager. Staff may want to consider alternative way to travel to work via public transport, carpooling to reduce the number of vehicles on campus or cycling, running or walking to campus.
Summer Graduation 2026: Parking
From Tuesday 7 July until Friday 10 July 2026 (inclusive) the University will be hosting our Summer Graduation ceremonies.
