New Module Teams for the 26/27 academic year

From 2 September 2026, new Module Teams will begin appearing in Microsoft Teams.

These Teams are created automatically and populated using module, staff and student information held within LUSI.

Activate your Module Team

Module Teams are created in an inactive state and must be activated before they become visible to students.

It is recommended that Module Teams are activated at least 24 hours before their first planned use by students.

Guidance on activating a Module Team is available from Microsoft

Team membership changes

From week commencing 14 September 2026, automated removals of staff and students from Module Teams will cease.

Staff and students will continue to be added where required based on updates within LUSI. This helps ensure any manual additions to a Module Team are retained throughout the academic year.

Panopto app for lecture capture

Teaching session recordings should continue to be uploaded to Panopto. Staff should remind students that official recordings can be accessed through the relevant Learn module page.
