Posture Check with Duo: Keeping your devices secure

As a reminder, a quick device security check during sign-in has been implemented for all staff and doctoral researchers using Cisco Duo.

Duo checks that the device you are using to access University systems and data is safe and up to date (and meets the required minimum-security standard) by ensuring you have the latest software updates installed.

If your device is running an outdated software version, you’ll see a warning notice on the device that it is out of date. This may be in your web browser or in the Duo app.

It's important to update your device as soon as possible. Keeping software up-to-date significantly reduces the risk of cyber-attacks.
