Want to make a real difference during your time at university? Become a Future Maker and help shape Education and Student Experience (E&SE) at Loughborough.

Loughborough Students’ Union (LSU) Future Makers are student volunteers who collaborate directly with University staff to cocreate meaningful change as part of the E&SE Transformation Programme.

Future Makers are appointed for 14 months, from May 2026 to July 2027, and play an active role in designing and improving the student experience.

As a Future Maker, you will:

  • represent the student voice at E&SE meetings
  • run focus groups to gather feedback from the wider student community
  • plan and deliver codesign sessions with targeted student groups
  • contribute to the co-creation of E&SE projects and initiatives alongside University staff.

Being a Future Maker helps you stand out, both at university and beyond. You’ll:

  • build communication, leadership and problemsolving skills
  • gain handson experience of institutional change and project work
  • make a visible impact on how Loughborough operates
  • strengthen your CV with experience that employers genuinely value.

If you want to help shape the future of Loughborough, apply to be a Future Maker by
11pm on 28 April.
