Car park closures during Arrival Week

Please note that new students will be arriving for the new academic year from Monday 22 to Wednesday 24 September. To assist with their arrival into halls, the following car parks will be closed on the following days.

Monday 22 September

  • The EAC/Hockey Car Park
  • Car Park 3
  • Part of the Library Car Park
  • Spaces near what used to be Whitworth
  • The barrier will be lowered at the Loughborough Design School, restricting access past this point.
  • Car Park 7

Tuesday 23 September

  • Spaces near what used to be Whitworth
  • The barrier will be lowered at the Loughborough Design School, restricting access past this point.
  • The EAC/Hockey Car Park
  • Spaces around the Claudia Parsons Halls
  • Car Park 7

Wednesday 24 September

  • Spaces near what used to be Whitworth
  • Spaces along Telford Way
  • The EAC/Hockey Car Park
  • Library Car Park
  • Car Park 13 and 14

Additionally, to assist with the arrival of new students into halls, the car park in front of Brockington and Schofield buildings (Car Park 18) will be temporarily closed. A section towards the Schofield end of the car park (highlighted in red in the picture below) will be out of use between Tuesday 23 September and Tuesday 30 September, inclusive.

This is to accommodate coach parking and pickups for a range of activities across the Welcome period for our new students.
