Join LU Arts for Speech Bubble: A night of spoken word poetry

A student reading poetry to an audience in the Student's Union Lounge

LU Arts and the Creative Writing Society are once again collaborating on this year’s Speech Bubble events, which showcase the best spoken word talent on campus, as well as featuring professional poets for November’s event.

This long-running, relaxed and friendly evening of open mic performance poetry is open to everyone (aged 18+), including students, staff and members of the public. Whether you're performing or simply enjoying the show, Speech Bubble offers an inclusive and supportive space to celebrate creativity and the power of words.

This tern’s event will be held on Monday 24 November in the Students’ Union and will feature a guest performance by Rachelle Ruby Foster.
