Step into Health: Your final opportunity to join this year’s free health and wellbeing programme

The Step into Health programme at Loughborough College is a government funded health and wellbeing initiative designed to help adults aged 19+ improve their lifestyle, whilst achieving a qualification in the process.

The course focuses on three core elements:

  • Physical Activity and Health: Personal tutors provide resources and support to help you control your physical activity levels.
  • Nutrition and Healthy Eating: You'll receive expert tips and guidance to manage your nutrition and diet effectively.
  • Stress Management: The programme offers strategies to better manage thoughts and feelings and reduce stress.

Learners have the option to select either paper-based or online resources to enhance their study experience. You will receive weekly tutorials to support you throughout your time on the course. The course takes up to eight weeks to complete and you only need to be able to dedicate 1-2 hours maximum per week.

Upon successful completion of the Step into Health programme, participants are awarded a certificate, accredited by the Aim Qualifications and Assessment Group.

The next Step into Health course will begin on 2 June 2025. Register your interest via the online form.

You can find more information about the course on the Step into Health website.
