Step into Health: Free health and wellbeing programme

The Step into Health programme at Loughborough College is a government funded health and wellbeing initiative designed to help adults aged 19+ improve their lifestyle, whilst achieving a qualification in the process.

Delivered over eight weeks, the course focuses on three core elements:

  • Physical Activity and Health: Personal tutors provide resources and support to help you control your physical activity levels.
  • Nutrition and Healthy Eating: You'll receive expert tips and guidance to manage your nutrition and diet effectively.
  • Stress Management: The programme offers strategies to better manage thoughts and feelings and reduce stress.

You will receive weekly tutorials to support you throughout your time on the course.

Upon successful completion of the Step into Health programme, participants are awarded a certificate, accredited by the Aim Qualifications and Assessment Group.

On 8 April, 12.30pm-1.30pm at the Hockey Pavilion, there will be an enrolment event where you can meet the tutors, enrol and grab your free resource pack. Sign up for the enrolment event. If you are unable to attend the event, you can still enrol for the programme via the event sign-up form.

The next Step into Health course will begin in April 2025. Find out more information on the Step into Health webpage.
