Windows 10 support will officially end on 14 October 2025. After this date, Microsoft will no longer provide security updates, bug fixes, or technical assistance for Windows 10.   

Staff are encouraged to book an upgrade over the coming months to ensure they are not adversely affected by this change and can continue to access University services and data past the 14 October. Colleagues who are managing devices that require a temporary extension*, such as those running lab equipment, can contact IT Services to discuss their requirements.   

*It should be noted that temporarily remaining on Windows 10 will incur disruption and provides limited services.
