Here are this year’s members of the LU Arts Student Team:
Charlotte Shearman Smith - Student Photographer
Charlotte is currently in her third year Fine Art degree. Photography plays a major role in her degree and working as a photographer for LU Arts has allowed her to further explore and deepen her passion, both within and beyond her studies.
Aimee Tregunno - Student Photographer
Aimee is also in her third year of her Fine Art degree, with a focus photography and alternative photographic processes. She has a love for all things arts, including dance, theatre, photography and music.
Kate Syniavska - Student Photographer
Kate is from Ukraine and is in the second year of her Architectural Engineering degree. She is passionate about documenting life through photography and video. Kate loves to connect with people through photography, capturing wonderful moments and finding inspiration around her.
Holly Sykes - Events Assistant
Holly is in her second year of her Fine Art degree. Being an Event Assistant for LU Arts has boosted her confidence, giving her a variety of experiences around the arts.
Yajie Hu - Events Assistant
Yajie is a doctoral researcher in the School of Design and Creative Arts, as well as a contemporary jewellery artist whose work in exhibited internationally. She has always had a deep passion for the creative arts, including exploring exhibitions and museums, and engaging in various creative activities.
Freya Leitch - Student Technician
Freya is a second year Product Design and Technology student, focusing on creating inclusive technologies which aim to enhance lives. She is excited to join LU Arts as a Student Technician as she has always had a great interest in the arts.
Scarlett Ross - Student Technician
Scarlett is a third year Fine Art student and is eager to merge her creative passion with technical expertise in her role as a student technician. With experience working at festivals, she brings a unique perspective on collaboration and creativity, and she is excited to contribute to a dynamic artistic environment.
Student team vacancies are usually advertised in the summer term each year via the LU Arts website and social media channels.
