The Researcher Development and Pathways Programme (RDPP) Directory was created to address the recognised need for a comprehensive resource to help those undertaking research to better navigate the extensive development opportunities available to them.
The RDPP Directory enables users to identify development opportunities relevant to their interests and professional needs. Search functions provide swift access to support staff in swiftly identifying which programmes meet their needs.
It is hoped that the RDPP Directory will benefit the researcher community by:
- Enhancing the visibility of the range and depth of researcher development opportunities at the University
- Improving signposting for booking and accessing resources associated with these opportunities
- Identifying and addressing researcher development topic gaps for ongoing enhancement of the RDPP
Speaking about the resource, Dr Katryna Kalawsky said: “The creation of the RDPP Directory is one of several new EAP initiatives designed to enhance the University’s Researcher Development and Pathways Programme. To help our researchers excel, it’s crucial that they are aware of all available development opportunities and know how to access them easily. Additionally, identifying and addressing gaps in the programme is essential for continuous improvement – stay tuned, there’s much more to come!”
The Head of Enhanced Academic Practice, Tina Byrom stated: “The RDPP Directory is a well-needed initiative that enables staff to quickly identify the development opportunity that best meets their professional needs. I’m delighted that we now have a resource to enable all our staff involved with research to thrive.”
A short video has been created to guide you on how to use the RDPP.
