Don’t miss the Autumn Careers Fair

Over 150 employers will be attending the Autumn Careers Fair, 16-17 October, in Sir David Wallace Sports Hall and they will be promoting their graduate, internship and placement roles; as well as vacation and volunteering opportunities.

Monday 16 October

This day of the Autumn Careers Fair has a STEM focus (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths). Some employers attending will have opportunities specific to STEM, and others will have opportunities available in all sectors. We highly encourage students who are interested in a career in STEM to attend; however, students from all disciplines are welcome.

Tuesday 17 October

The second day of the Autumn Careers Fair will have employers exhibiting their employment opportunities in all sectors (this may include opportunities in STEM). We highly encourage students from all disciplines and year groups to attend.

Some of the employers attending include Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains, Nestlé, Aldi, Next, Virgin Media O2 and McLaren. Most of our top employers will only be attending for one day.

Even if you are not actively looking for employment, the Careers Fair allows you to explore different career paths, research opportunities in different sectors and gain an understanding of what roles might be available when you are ready to apply. You can also speak with employers to see what they are looking for, so you are prepared for when applications open.

Book your place.

The Careers Fair is part of Careers Fest, a six-week programme of events designed to help you on your career journey.

The Careers Fest is running Monday 2 October – Friday 10 November and includes:

  • Virtual and in-person Mock Assessment Centres
  • Employers on campus
  • The Loughborough Enterprise Network (LEN): access knowledge, networks and funding to help you start a business or learn entrepreneurial skills
  • Student Success events including workshops and talks
