Maintenance request process review

Colleagues in Estates and Facilities Management, supported by the Change Team, are currently completing a review of the Archibus reactive maintenance software and process.

Our reactive maintenance process is the mechanism for the Maintenance team to complete work requests from colleagues across campus. From leaking taps to painting jobs, Archibus processes any maintenance requests submitted.

Following a full process review and mapping, system and process improvements have been identified and improvements to the end user’s experience are being trialled in the AACME school throughout October.

Part of the trial includes changes to the automated emails. All Archibus users will be receiving the new style of email. Although we will only be gathering detailed feedback from AACME colleagues, please do get in touch with James Badger (j.w.badger@lboro.ac.uk) with comments on the automated emails.

The feedback will be considered and assessed to understand whether the interventions have made a difference to the end user and whether any other changes need to be made in support of them.
