Collection for earthquake victims and the local community

Loughborough’s community wardens are collaborating with LSU Rag and LSU Action to collect funds for the Disasters Emergency Committee to support the victims of the recent earthquake and The Bridge, a local homelessness charity.

The collection will take place in the Storer Road area of Loughborough on 15 March, 6pm-7.30pm.

Jenny Ardley, Community Warden said: “We know that Loughborough students are passionate and generous when supporting both local and national charities. There is a very strong current need to help those affected by the terrible earthquake and we also would like to support our local community who may be experiencing difficulty due to the cost of living crisis.”

Jenny is looking for staff volunteers to help on the night. If you are interested please email j.ardley@lboro.ac.uk.
