Men’s Health Week at the University

Men's Health Week (MHW) is running from 12-18 June 2023, aiming to provide men and boys with access to the information and services they need to live healthier and happier lives.

During this timeframe, the University is running in-person and online sessions available for staff, focused on improving men’s wellbeing:

This workshop offers a safe space in which men can talk about the challenges they face and learn practical tools to improve their health, wellbeing and coping strategies. The session will be interactive, including a group discussion, team activities and some self-reflection.

This session seeks to explore important issues surrounding men’s mental health, enabling you to be better prepared to support yourselves and colleagues.

There are also several other useful resources available online from Health Assured, an external organisation that works in partnership with Loughborough University, providing helpful information and advice for managing mental health:

The University offers a range of internal and external support services available for staff including support groups and onsite counselling. You can find more information online.
